The officials had a meeting after the goal and felt it was a good goal and would let video decide it. That on-ice change was key for the Jets. No scoring in overtime, so off to the shootout. Tim Stapleton was stopped, Andrew Ladd scored, Pavelec was 2-for-2, leaving Wellwood a chance to end it, and with a nifty move to the forehand, he beat Theodore for the win.
