Anaheim - The rolling Anaheim Ducks will shoot for a 13th win in 14 games when they host the Vancouver Canucks in Sundays Pacific Division battle at Honda Center. Adidas Zx 700 Dames Sale . Chris Higgins is out for the Canucks so newly-recalled Benn Ferriero will be in the lineup. The Canucks enter Sundays showdown on a three-game slide and Vancouvers last two setbacks have come in regulation, including Saturdays 3-1 loss in Los Angeles. Vancouver led 1-0 heading into the third period before the Kings scored three times in the final 20 minutes for the win. Jeff Carter scored twice for L.A. and he notched the game-winner with 7:55 left in the third after Dustin Brown tied it just 67 seconds into the period. Carter also added an empty-net goal to seal the victory. Ryan Kesler had the only goal of the game for the Canucks, while Roberto Luongo stopped 46 shots to take the tough-luck loss in his return to the lineup. Luongo had missed the previous three games with a lower-body injury. "In our division we are going to have to learn to battle hard, and it starts with our forwards, as far as the forecheck," said Vancouver head coach John Tortorella. "Our D was under siege all night long. If we are going to compete in our division in the second half of this year, we need to be more consistent." Vancouver is currently sitting fourth in the Pacific Division and now trails L.A. by three for third place. The Canucks will turn to Eddie Lack in net this evening. Lack has one career outing against the Ducks, as he took a loss after allowing two goals in Vancouvers 3-1 setback in Anaheim on Nov. 10. In addition to posting 12 wins in their last 13 outings overall, the Ducks, who lead the Pacific by seven points over San Jose, still havent suffered a regulation loss on home ice this season. Fridays 5-2 home victory against the Edmonton Oilers boosted Anaheims superb record as the host this season to 16-0-2. The Ducks are the only team in the NHL yet to lose in regulation at home in 2013-14. Ben Lovejoy was the unlikely offensive star in Fridays win against Edmonton, as the defenseman recorded the first two-goal game of his career in the win. Lovejoy has seven goals in 171 career games and three of them have come this season. The two-goal performance also came just three days after Lovejoys wife delivered the couples first child, a daughter, on New Years Eve. "Great feeling, great win," said Lovejoy. "It?s been an awesome couple of days, and I would love to keep it going. It was pretty special." Kyle Palmieri also notched a goal and an assist in Fridays victory. Tim Jackman and Andrew Cogliano added the other goals for the Ducks. Jonas Hiller needed to make only 16 saves for Anaheim, which outshot the Oilers by a commanding 37-18 margin on the night. The Ducks notched a win over a visiting Vancouver club on Nov. 10, taking the first of five meetings between the clubs by a 3-1 score. Anaheim has taken two straight and three of four overall from the Canucks, but Vancouver has won three of the past five encounters in Orange County. Adidas Originals NEO Sneakers . Cheap St. Louis Blues Jerseys . -- Nicolas Deschamps had a goal and two assists and Marcel Mueller added three assists as the Toronto Marlies defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins 4-2 in American League Hockey action Friday. DENVER -- Tyler Chatwood pitched his way out of trouble sometimes and got some help from his defence at other moments, too. It all added up to a successful return from injury for the Colorado Rockies starter on Saturday. Chatwood pitched five effective innings in his first outing since a recent triceps injury, Tyler Colvin homered during Colorados six-run first, and the Rockies snapped a three-game losing streak with a 10-5 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. The Rockies also relied on solid defence to end a six-game skid against the Phillies. They turned three double plays and got a gem from third baseman Nolan Arenado, who snared Jonathan Pettibones sharply hit grounder in the second with a diving stop and made a one-hop throw from his backside to get the Phillies pitcher. In the first inning, one out after Michael Youngs RBI single, left fielder Carlos Gonzalez also threw out Young at the plate as he tried to score on Ryan Howards double. "That was pretty special," Chatwood said of Arenados defensive gem. "That might have saved a run, and CarGo definitely saved a run, throwing out a guy from the wall. Our defence has been good all year and it definitely helped me out of some jams." Chatwood induced a double-play grounder in the fourth, after allowing a leadoff walk, and another in the fifth after successive singles to start the inning. Chatwood said he used his two-seam fastball to get both grounders. "I thought Chat did an outstanding job," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "What I really liked is when he got in trouble, he got the double-play ball. I think hes really focused on doing that this year. Thats been his approach in those situations and hes been able to get it done." Wilin Rosario had three hits, all for extra bases, Arenado was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, and Chatwood pitched in with two hits, including an RBI single. But it was Arenados remarkable stop and throw from the ground to nail Pettibone that resonated after the game, even with the Phillies. "I wanted to snap something that way," Pettibone said. "Its going to be on Top Ten. Hes a good player. You just tip your cap." Arenado was more understated in describing his stellar play. "I was just able to make a dive," he said. "It was just reactioon. wholesale nfl jerseys. . I got the ball, and from an angle I just threw it, tried to get the ball out of my hand as quick as I could. Luckily (Jordan) Pacheco made a great scoop." Chatwood (4-1) also had a pretty good day at the plate. He boosted his average to .437 (7 for 16) with 5 RBIs in his first game since June 3, when he left after four innings at Cincinnati because of right triceps soreness. He missed one start before Saturdays outing when he allowed two runs and seven hits. Pettibone (3-3) was hit hard from the outset and left after three innings, his shortest outing of the season. Winless in six starts, Pettibone gave up 10 hits and seven runs, including six in the first when the Rockies sent 10 batters to the plate and matched their highest-scoring inning of the season. "He had a rough time there," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. "They hit some balls good off him. We cant get CarGo out. The catcher, we kept feeding him balls over the plate, and he kept smoking them to the same place. Things kind of snowballed, we got a little sloppy. "We gave them outs, and you cant do that. Especially in this ballpark. Theyll burn you because theyve got a good team." The Phillies took a 1-0 lead on Michael Youngs RBI single but the Rockies strung together six consecutive hits in the bottom of the first, including a run-scoring single by Michael Cuddyer, an RBI double by Gonzalez, an RBI triple by Rosario, and a two-run homer by Colvin. Colorado extended its lead to 10-2 with three runs in the fourth. The Rockies turned it into a rout with run-scoring singles from Arenado and Chatwood and an RBI double from Rosario. The Phillies added three runs in the eighth on Ryan Howards RBI double and John Mayberrys two-run homer off Chris Volstad. NOTES: Rockies OF Dexter Fowler was out of the starting lineup for a second straight game. He was hit by a pitch on Thursday when he squared to bunt. Fowler appeared as a pinch runner and played an inning in the field on Friday but Weiss said Fowler is still having trouble gripping a bat. ... Young is two RBIs shy of 1,000. ...
